Thanks for everyone who participated in the Living Photo Booth this past summer. In anticipation of the quincentennial, for 2010, I will be launching a site that will have all the past year's shots up that can be purchased. A part of the proceeds will go back to Coney Island USA who is the group who puts on the parade every year. Other funds will go to cover costs of printing and doing this project every year! I hope to see you next year. - Elizabeth

Join me at the Mermaid Parade this weekend, Saturday, June 20th for Mermaids and frolicking. I will be doing in some fashion my Living Photo Booth project for the Mermaid Parade - at the start of the parade this year, instead of at the Ball. You can get your picture taken BEFORE you go through the hot sun and all your make up melts off! Hooray! I will be posting photos for the benefit we do every year for Coney Island USA, and the Coney Island Museum. This will be my 5th year running of mermaid photos, so see you there! As always, I am honored to be a part of this community, and to document these historic times.
